- Ah, that's a bit odd, as Roman Catholics are still common in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and being a Haiphong native myself know quite a bit in the North. Though the only notable ones I can think of are from the 1950's in South Vietnam or the former Nguyễn Dynasty imperial family. Regarding the First Ladies, well several Presidents of the SR of Vietnam were also married, so there is probably something weird going on with those categories.
