Other types of commemoration

[edit]

There are other types of commemoration relating to National Socialism (e.g. places named after resistance fighters or commemorative ceremonies). Surprisingly, under Category:Commemorations by subject no entry for National Socialism exists. There is only a Category:Commemoration of Nazi forced labor but so far I'm not sure whether this should be a subcategory of World War II commemoration only or or also of commemoration of National Socialism. Probably there could be a Category:Commemoration of National Socialist crimes (analogous to Category:Commemoration of communist crimes). But monuments to resistance fighters or places named after them are not part of that (also, the book burning is not seen as a crime but as censorship), so a more general Category:Commemoration relating to National Socialism – analogous to the monuments and memorials category – would be necessary as well. This is likely to be a very big category so maybe there should be a discussion in advance.--Leit (talk) 02:12, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
