See HERE - with a picture of a BF. The car took a long time to develop and was based on the BF. Here's another mention, from December 1987 - two years before the BG platform. Also, the treads and wheelbases are same as for the BF: specs. The Capri and BF Familia both have front and rear treads of 1390 and 1415 mm, while the BG has 1430/1435 (and 2450mm wheelbase; the BF/Capri have 2400 and 2405mm).
