Oppose rename request. About 90-95% of the Wikipedias recognize "Marie Curie", not "Maria Skłodowska-Curie". Wknight94 talk 17:05, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
An aim of Wikipedia is the truth! The opinion poll was with the participation of millions? This about what you speak is an at fault. Many years of promoting of only one of her two surnames. Reflect why her chemical element is "polonium". Not "francogall". Greetings --Starscream (talk) 16:03, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The aim of Commons is to serve our clients, mainly wikipedia's. From the interwiki's, it is clear which name is the best known worldwide. (In general, we try to avoid naming complications, such as middle names, initials, ... in order to have the best possible search results.) --Foroa (talk) 18:03, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I created a redirect from Category:Maria Skłodowska-Curie and removed the {{Move}} template. –Tryphon 10:42, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
