The West Bank is a disputed area to which both Israel and the palestinians claim. It therefore should be catalouged under both israel and the palestinian authority until the dispute is resolved peacfully. יעקב (talk) 21:01, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We don't run our own rule in Wikipedia. catalogued items are subject to the project's conventions and editors are expected to align with this regardless of their religious observations. While Israel is legally nothing but an unrecognized martial occupying authority in the Palestinian territories, Wiki and the vast inter-national community associate them with the Palestinians and with Palestine. To change this, please refer to the international community decisionmakers first. Thanks for your understanding, Orrlingtalk 20:08, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The discussion was held at the village pump, July 21, 2012. You were outnumbered, actually you were the only one to support your opinion. The Wikimedia has about 15 different disputed areas. All of them are double catalouged. I repeat. All of them. The West bank is no different. The cataloging has nothing to do with the legal status, the international status or the Orrling status. It is merely a way to help people find what they want. יעקב (talk) 20:38, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
