Hi Dmitry G. Of course, it is not a real filament like a filament in a incandescent lamp, the installation as a final result looks like a filament. The description "filaments" is a part of this LED lamp type and more a proper name. If in doubt take a look in sources like US Patent 2014/0369036 link. It will be useful to sort between two categories: Incandescent filament and LED filament, as commonly word "filament" means "thread-like structures" in English language. Dmitry G (talk) 09:01, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
