As happens rather often you use words, the meaning of which probably is familiar to administrators, but not to ordinary users. In this case "maintenance category" and "topical category". As I often do, I tried finding them using the help center, but did not find any explanation.

Conversely I suggest the category remains as it is. The two churches mentioned are so close that if one happens to find some pictures of them on the web (there are some, using Google) they often show pictures of one under the name of the other and visa versa. I made that mistake too, but think I worked out which is which to a tee. To come to my conclusion I used some pictures from sites with descriptions and pictures. But even the people who published those made mistakes. I wrote to them a week ago, suggesting they change some pictures and their attributions, but they did not answer. My experience is that Turkish sites rarely react to English mails, even if the sites provide copy in English. And also, that if commercial elements play a role such sites rarely change content as long as their sites attract customers. Concerning Commons I expect that my precise categorising of pictures may help people publish some more pictures rightly on Commons in the future. With tourism to Cappadocia increasing rapidly I think that will happen soon.

I'm surprised to see that "maintenance category" and "topical category" are poorly explained at Commons:Categories (which I'm not going to try to fix right now, because it is an official policy page) and at Commons:Editor's index to Commons (a.k.a. COM:Glossary), which I will try to fix. Thank you for pointing out that very surprising omission. - Jmabel ! talk 12:24, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
