Category talk:Jean Marot (poet)
"(I)" is a non-intuitive disambiguation token (we also have Category:Jean Marot that has no DAB token). Since this one already has a DAB token, how about using "(architect)" instead (2 of 4 wiki use that) as a more descriptive term. The Creator:Jean Marot (I) page gives "Jean Marot the Elder" as an alt name, but the other Jean Marot is 150 years older, so again a profession is a better identiy than anything about chronology. I don't know if it's worth emphasizing who the other person is, as (poet) rather than the plain name (frwiki has them at fr:Jean Marot (poète) but the other wikis do not have a DAB token for this person). - Support. The category was created a while ago by a useful bot, but not the best name. I think we can be bold and go ahead and make the change. --Robert.Allen (talk) 21:10, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
@DMacks and Robert.Allen: Closed (no objections to dab rename to Category:Jean Marot (architect) and Category:Jean Marot (poet) with Category:Jean Marot as a dab) Josh (talk) 18:05, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
