Do we have to pay to use the trail or register? are Helmets required? Can we start at any point? We would like to start at the South end of the Trail and head north and possible take the train back, is that an option?

• Not really the right place for this sort of discussion, but (1) the trail is free (2) if you are on foot, you certainly don't need a helmet! On bicycles they are not legally required, but if your pace is more than, say 15mph and you don't use one, apparently you don't value your head. (3) Start and finish wherever you like, assuming you don't cut through someone's private property. (4) I don't think there is currently a train that stops anywhere near either the south or north end of the trail, and certainly not one that connects to both. You might be able to work out something by bus. The Interurban itself has not run in over half a century: the trail is along the former tracks. - Jmabel ! talk 07:21, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
