Trying to place these Dutch ”paper factory in Imatra” photos:

  1. File:Houtvlotten bij grote papierfabriek Europa bij Imatra, Bestanddeelnr 254-7410.jpg, File:Papierfabriek in Imatra, Bestanddeelnr 920-4764.jpg, File:Houtvoorraad bij papierfabriek bij Imatra, Bestanddeelnr 920-4766.jpg: Same ship (and location?) as in File:Kaukopää Mills 1964 (JOKAUAS2 11542-2).tif which claims to be from Kaukopää unit. Salosaari in the background?
  2. File:Papierfabriek in Imatra, Bestanddeelnr 920-4765.jpg: Same people and Beloit machine as in File:Kaukopää Mills 1964 (JOKAUAS2 11542-1).tif which claims to be from Kaukopää. According to fi:Stora Enson Imatran tehtaat Tainionkoski unit never had any Beloit machines.
  3. File:Papierfabriek bij Imatra, Bestanddeelnr 920-4769.jpg: Rolls of... what? According to fi:Stora Enson Imatran tehtaat Kaukopää had a paper machine only since 1970.
  4. File:Papierfabriek Imatra, Bestanddeelnr 920-4780.jpg: To the right from image 5, so Tainionkoski unit with Kaukopää in the background?
  5. File:Papierfabriek Imatra, Bestanddeelnr 920-4781.jpg: Tainionkoski unit with Kalliosaari in the background (https://www.google.fi/maps/search/61.221254,+28.798033)?

@Kooma: I can't really help here, paper mills are not really in my interests. I suspect that Kaukopää and Tainionkoski are very easy to mix up in archive photos. Perhaps ask in fi:Wikipedia:Kahvihuone (sekalaista) or relevant fi-wiki talk pages. MKFI (talk) 20:31, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
