@Stunteltje: Hello, this IMO number seems to be incorrect. Is there any valid source available? Groet --Ein Dahmer (talk) 19:01, 29 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I found 108858 in https://wrecksite.eu/wreck.aspx?211518 and it was a typo,I assume. But it is very well possible that it is an official number and not a correct IMO number. The IMO numbering system had been introduced much later. --Stunteltje (talk) 19:45, 29 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest to merge both ship name categories with Template:Cat see also and to delete the incorrect IMO category. --Ein Dahmer (talk) 15:59, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Good suggestion.--Stunteltje (talk) 18:53, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
180858 is the UK official number. I think Miramar ship index put a 1 on the front of UK official numbers for its ID, when it did not have an IMO number from 1969 or later (when they went to 7 digits). The correct IMO however is 5426417 (it's listed as LR542641 in the 1965 Lloyd's per a Google Books hit in snippet view, and 7 is the check digit for that). I'll move the category to that number.
