黃友棣在遺囑中強調：「自其逝世之日起，其全部音樂作品皆可供人自由印行、演唱、演奏、製片、錄音、錄影、用為背景音樂；皆可出售，全無限制」。
(My translation) Hwang Yau-tai emphasised in his will, "From the date of his death, all his musical works can be freely published, sung, made into albums, recorded, filmed, or used as background music. All can be for sales without restrictions."--Roy17 (talk) 16:41, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
