The nightscream fireworks pictures

I looked at nightscream's talk page and there is clearly a problem here. Nightscream is a professional illustrator. He wants us to attribute all of his pictures to him for any use. Well, this is clearly advertising. His talk page is full of deletions. No one is using his pictures. This is not in the spirit of WP: we don't advertise companies. All nightscream's pictures requiring his signature ought to be removed. Now, these fireworks pictures are categorized as "Hudson River". This is marginal; they were only launched from the Hudson. And yet they swell out the category so you can't find anything else. I tried to start a subcategory for them under Hudson River but my subcategory refuses to appear. I presume that is because I did not sign nightscream's name the way he specifies. Well, nightscream is clearly a high-pressure New York City ad man who thinks he has found a way to publicise his agency on WP. Are we going to let him get away with this just because he is New York and smart? Nightscream, get your stuff off WP and Commons and leave us alone. Have a little respect. I'm not that familiar with commons so beyond this notice I don't know what to do to get you off. In the articles it is a different matter. If I see any stuff of any kind attributed to you it is coming out, out, out! An administrator ought to mark nightscream's user page as being advertising as I have seen done with some people.Botteville (talk) 02:00, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
