Unfortunately for the humanity, Hasankeyf (Heskîf) doesn't exist any longer (2020), and the village has been destroyed and flooded. A new village has been built up on the opposite side of the Tigris, called the New Hasankeyf (Heskîfa Nû). What we see on these pictures is now under the water of a lake (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DIqw1szKE4). --MikaelF (talk) 09:33, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@MikaelF: en:Hasankeyf says that not all of Hasankeyf. Enwiki hasn't yet article of en:New Hasankeyf--Estopedist1 (talk) 05:33, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Estopedist1: , the Ilisu dam was finally filled in April/May 2020. The old ruins and caves on the top of the cliff are still there, but impossible to visit, and the destruction of the town is complete and most of it under water. The most important historical mosques, minarets, hamams were moved to New Hasankeyf. Many other villages along the Tigris have also disappeared under the water. --MikaelF (talk) 06:46, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
