@DenghiùComm: Isn't it better to simply place the correct categories on each coin instead of making a an overall incorrect categorization? Not all of these coins have L. Brutus or M. Brutus on them.*Treker (talk) 12:33, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@*Treker: Gaius Servilius Ahala was a hero of ancient Rome in the 5th century B.C. So on these coins he is a subject. Lucius Junius Brutus was an ancestor of Brutus, so on these coins he is a subject too. M. Junius Brutus and Q. Servilius Caepio Brutus are the same: we call him simply Brutus. Marcus Junius Brutus changed his name to Quintus Servilius Caepio Brutus after his adoption. He minted coins in the Roman Republic. If you look here (and subsequent ones s.v. BRVTVS), you will see that my categorization was correct. Please restore the categories you have deleted. Thank you. Best regards. --DenghiùComm (talk) 13:11, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That doesn't make any sense. L. Brutus only appears on a some of these images, not all. It's better to just categorize those specific ones with their names. And there already is a Brutus category on this page, the "coins minted by Q. Servilius Caepio Brutus" category which I'm well aware is the same person as M. Brutus. M. Brutus just like L. Brutus is only actually DISPLAYED on some of these images, not all. So it's better to just categorize those secific images. Otherwise it becomes a confusion of navigation.*Treker (talk) 13:21, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I just want to add and clarify, I understand exactly what is going on, I just disagree that the way you're going about it is the best way to categorize images.*Treker (talk) 13:23, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If the problem is only Lucius Junius Brutus, please create the Category:Lucius Junius Brutus on coins. Thank you. DenghiùComm (talk) 13:27, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Since the coins with Gaius Servilius Ahala are the same issue as those with Lucius Junius Brutus on the reverse, in order not to unnecessarily duplicate a category, I assign the cat of Lucius Junius Brutus to that category of Ahala. Please don't remouve this category. Thank you. --DenghiùComm (talk) 14:21, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Seems widely unhehelpful and confusing. Also, what evidence is there that all coins with Ahala also feature Lucius Brutus?*Treker (talk) 18:01, 7 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Find other coins. Ahala is a very antique people. And a very rare subject on coins. DenghiùComm (talk) 17:33, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
