Licensing question about these SVG files. It says the original work is GPL'd, and the subsequent edits are Public Domain. What does this mean? Still GPL for the assets, I guess?

It means they were re-released under the Public Domain in violation of the original license. By definition, edits to GPL licensed works are GPL licensed. I'm the one who drew these, it happens all the time. Most impressive was when I saw them on the front page of Amazon.com for a free app of the day. Rahga (talk) 02:00, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
