The title of this category is somewhat awkwardly redundant. AnonMoos (talk) 18:37, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, think about the chicken breasts and others. Category:Female breasts of humans might be easier. Redundant: We have Category:Body parts in art, Category:Female breasts of humans in art and Category:Female toplessness in art assigned. The lesser seems to be redundant at first sight, but there is a difference. A female topless person does not need to have her breasts "on display". --Mattes (talk) 07:47, 29 June 2009 (UTC) ...minor modification --Mattes (talk) 03:34, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The word "breast" in the singular occurs in various metaphorical or proverbial expressions, and the phrase "Chicken-breast" also occurs, but according to ordinary usage, it is only human females who can have "breasts" as such (one entity having multiple breasts). Thanks for the information, I didn't know about that. Act as you please accordingly. --Mattes (talk) 03:34, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
How about Womens breasts in art? Since younger females of our species don't have breasts. --Vera (talk) 13:44, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Redundant cat to be voided?

[edit]

This strange cat is not defined! Any nude image of women shows some breast! The sequences on Topless are much better suited. Now 31C, 297 media to be better categorized.

It would make sense if this category was limited to art images limited to breasts (often details), or specific artworks representing breasts only.
