Language information

[edit]

Japanese is a high priority language for this subject. Signage in the McNamara Terminal is in Japanese because of the large number of passengers coming from Tokyo Narita and Nagoya (previously Osaka also had flights). Therefore images and files of the airport should have Japanese descriptions when possible.

Many Japanese automobile companies have operations in the Detroit area, and there is a population of Japanese expatriates in the Detroit suburbs. Detroit Metro Airport also acts as a connecting point between Japan and the East Coast of the United States.

In addition, some signage is in Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and Arabic. Therefore these languages may be beneficial for files in this subject. WhisperToMe (talk) 20:05, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
