I have added and reverted the category Category:Safer sex. Users browsing this higher category should have all relevant items available, such as condoms and dental dams. Perhaps some people find the sexual use of dental dams offensive: nevertheless it is there and part of many safe sex recommendations. The commons provides material for all interests, not just dentistry. --Simonxag (talk) 12:06, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo, Dental dams has absolutely no relation to safer sex. It is a tool for dental treatment! I will ask M.Ottenbruch (Dental member of Redation Medizin) to look on this site. Regards --R. Engelhardt (talk) 14:27, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
See en:Safe sex and en:Dental dam. As the Wikipedia shouldn't be used as a source itself - try [1] and [2] as a sample of online sex education sources. Googling ' safe sex dental dam ' will give you 22,300 more. That's quite a lot of hits for things that have "absolutely no relation" to each other. --Simonxag (talk) 19:28, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
All these descriptions are nonsense, because "dental dam" is not the rubber-foil itself, but the application of the rubber. What does a perforated rubber help against bacteriums??? - But do what You want... - I am right and I invest my time rather in more important things! --R.
