Hi, maybe you'll should refer to Commons:Categories within Wikimedia Commons, before you establish and try to maintain that category: imho not individual files have to be categorized as Cultural heritage monuments – please refer p.e. to that recent upload – nearly for all Cultural heritage monuments in India there are already categories within Wikimedia Commons, p.e. Category:Vivekananda Rock Memorial (etc.etc.etc.) related to the above mentioned upload.

So, please, take the time to think over your system to upload media within the Category:Wiki Loves Monuments 2012 in India i appreciate very much – or – please add that category to all related Wikimedia categories according to imho preferred the 'official' list of the Category:Archaeological Survey of India. To prevent an 'over-whelming' of the above mentioned well-established categorisation system, i temporarly created Category:Cultural heritage monuments in India to categorize, so another proposal from my side. btw: imho there's a 'relationship' between that new-established category and also new-established Category:ASI Monuments, so'll you intend to optimize the handling of the related files/upload.
