Specie or subspecie?

Even some works cite it as a subspecie of C. serotinus, they are similar but different. The reticulate fibers of the corms of C. clusii show it belongs even to another section.--Cillas (talk) 08:10, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. According to the Crocus guru Brian Mathew, the classification of whom is commonly accepted (see: GRIN taxonomy), the taxon clusii has to be considered as a subsp. of Crocus serotinus. --Réginald (To reply) 14:29, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
