Construction railways vs. rail construction

This category was intended for temporary railways used during major construction projects, but it seems to have acquired some subcats that really belong in Category:Rail construction (construction of railways). Pinging @Enhancing999, Geogast as the only non-anons who seem to have touched the relevant categories: could you please have a look through this category and see what should be moved to Category:Rail construction, since you presumably have more of a clue than me as to whether the railways you were categorizing were permanent or temporary? Hello Jmabel! What I did, was reorganize rail construction and tunnel construction in Switzerland; so I didn't touch the construction railway topic. I see it the same way as you: Construction railways are temporary rails or railways during a construction. So IMHO it does not make sense to have whole categories of the type "Construction of XY rail tunnel" in this category (construction railways). Geogast (talk) 17:48, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
