[edit]This category was created with a categorization of Category:Conductors from Germany and Category:Musicians from Berlin. I think those categories are inappropriate, as those categories don't apply to the majority of its members. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 11:36, 27 August 2019 (UTC)

- I understand the meaning of "from Germany/Berlin" as you put it. However, that's not how the term would normally be understood, and it's not in line with the category tree which reaches up to Category:Germans for these two categories – which is thoroughly misleading. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 00:20, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- This is because "People of Germany" is a subcat of "Germans", although it should be the other way around (or, to be precise, "Germans" should be in Category:People of Germany by ethnicity). Feel free to fix it. --A.Savin 00:47, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
