Unclear purpose. Proposing deletion. Themightyquill (talk) 11:23, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
- Support Although I made this category, I agree because category name is not good and at the same time I can't find better name now. I made this category intended to cover images relating to shape recognition circuit in brain (something likw w:Cognitive_neuroscience_of_visual_object_recognition#Neural_substrates), as same as categories for visual perception (Category:Visual pathways) or auditory perception (Category:Auditory pathways). But currently I don't know similar kind of term for object shape recognition (shape pathway?). So I agree with proposal. --Was a bee (talk) 19:46, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Was a bee: Would a move to Category:Object shape recognition work? Or perhaps Category:Cognitive neuroscience of visual object recognition to match the wikipedia article? - Themightyquill (talk) 10:51, 6 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Themightyquill: That's an idea. I think later one (matching with Wikipedia article) is good. Because the former one is bit vast. Most of the current researches on shape recognition are from area of computer science, or A.I research, like w:Facial recognition system. --Was a bee (talk) 15:59, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
