The listed railways are partly railway companies (with several lines, also non-rack) and partly single lines. Furthermore I don't see why Cog should be replaced by Rack? Gürbetaler 23:00, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

“Cog or rack” is a feature of a railway line. Rail transport companies would be categorized elsewhere.
In the English Wikipedia, I found the article Rack railway, so I proposed the same name. More, Category:Rack railcars and Category:Rack track were subcategories of Category:Cog Railway: I have moved them to Category:Rack railway.
However, my proposal can still be discussed. --Juiced lemon 09:15, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As cog and rack are used as synonyms, why is it necessary to replace cog by rack?--Gürbetaler 16:39, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
However, Cog Railway instead of Cog railways is a bit odd as category. So move! --Gürbetaler 20:45, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
