Nyugati

[edit]

I think this category would be better named as Budapest Nyugati pályaudvar. Railwayfan2005 (talk) 21:04, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose just as Category:train stations in the Czech Republic, Category:Train stations in Central Bohemian Region Category:train stations in Poland, Category:train stations in Warsaw, ... it must be clear from the title that it is a train station. --Foroa (talk) 23:06, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The discussion about Czech train stations clearly concluded that the full and official station name should constitute the base of a category name and that the English disambiguation "train station" should be used only in cases that the station name is identical with the settlement name. If the official station name contains such specification in itself (of course in the local language), it is undesired to add some English translation. The category name should be an identifier, not an etymologic explanation. --ŠJů (talk) 22:39, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Support This is the official name of the station. The english wikipedia use the Hungarian name of the object too. see: en:Budapest Nyugati pályaudvar --Beroesz (talk) 19:00, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Question Does contain the official name a hyphen or doesn't? --ŠJů (talk) 08:16, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Support Western Railway Station is a) not used by anyone b) has no value of unique name (there can be 1000+ such stations in the world, c) not an offical name of this station. Such a category name is unusable - lot of people know hungarian names, yet do not speak hungarian so such a translation confuses them. Should we translate Dunaújváros to Danubian new town?  Support I support the full official station name (including the city name) as the category name. --ŠJů (talk) 22:38, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
