1) I have linked following pages from mr-wikisource for copyright status reference, I request and expect the lists being positively updated at earliest as discussed previouslly with your goodselves.

• To crosss-check copyright status list of copyright free Marathi language Authors maintained at Marathi wikisource.
• To crosss-check copyright status list of copyrighted Marathi language Authors maintained at Marathi wikisource.

2) As per my openion for books published before 1914 AD like File:वनस्पतिवर्णन भाग १.pdf this book Copyright Act of 1847 is supposed to be applicable where copyright period is lesser than act of 1914 or act of 1957. So for that purpose you need to study and discuss this point with wikimedia commons community and update Template:PD-India for that purpose. Otherwise books will get deleted mistakenly by commons community.

@Mahitgar: Updating of template not necessary. All copyright laws of India are connected to author's death year. If copyright per earlier law did not expire at the time of introduction of the new law, then the book will pass to the new law. It is 50 pma if author died in 1941 or before; 60 pma thereafter. @Mahitgar: Sorry, an inadvertent mistake: it is 50 pma if author died before 1941; 60 pma thereafter (including 1941). Hrishikes (talk) 01:04, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
