As the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam is the successor to both the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam (North-Viet Nam), and the Republic of South-Viet Nam (A Terrorist(ic) front-office 🏢 of the Viet-Cong), and neither of those governments ever recognised the existence of the Republic of Viet Nam (South-Viet Nam), are newer banknotes still copyrighted by the current Vietnamese government or not? --58.187.168.206 08:16, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It just seems unlikely to me as it would be like the American government suddenly asserting its copyright over the Casa Nostra, neither North-Viet Nam or the Viet Cong recognised the South-Vietnamese government as either a legitimate or "legal" entity, so naturally they have no claim over their copyright Š, right? --58.187.168.206 08:18, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
