So why we decline the Israel categorization

[edit]

Hello. You need to understand how Wiki works before starting editing. I'll explain to you so that you can learn easily, with no criticism on you because I know that not everyone fully knows everything and that mistakes are OK. When we categorize entries of physical existence (such as places) we tag them by the country in which they are found. By this method, we only classify places by their actual country (as it is recognized on Wiki) and not by neighbouring countries, which have their own scheme. Samaria is a major region in the Palestinian territories, and it is not in Israel in fact. In this light, it's incorrect to tag sub-entries of Samaria as "in Israel". I do not need your explanation. You have a political agenda. As I wrote before this is a geographical Category that you tried to hide in sub sub category. Also not all Samaria is defined under the political Category "West Bank" for example Ahwat. Hanay (talk) 09:23, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Umm al-Fahm is also in Samria, also Katzir and others places. To say that all samaria is in the west bank it is not true. Hanay (talk) 12:38, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Samaria is in Palestine. Penyulap 04:18, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You are wrong. is Umm al-Fahm in Palestinian National Authority? Hanay (talk) 10:41, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
From what I see across many sources on the Internet, Samaria is part of Palestine. Orrling and I are in agreement on this, so please don't edit war as that usually leads to an admin blocking you to slow you down and get your attention where simple discussion doesn't work. If there is a reason Samaria is not part of Palestine please articulate it better, or point me at some decent resource on the Internet I can check and see if it's true. That's awesome, extra info is always welcome, let's see if it is enough to sway Orrling. I personally haven't seen all the sources I saw on the Internet change, but then I haven't looked, have there been recent events I should know about ? Penyulap 19:29, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
