While Spanish descriptions may be a good choice for a second language, Spanish is not very important to this topic.

• Even though the flight departed from Mexico, almost all of the passengers were Americans who were on vacation. There was one Mexican citizen and one British citizen on board.
• The aircraft crashed in U.S. territory.
• To my knowledge Alaska Airlines never posted any messages about Flight 261 in Spanish
