I think that the name of this category could be ameliorated. Actually, Addiator was the commercial name of a specific maker of slide adders. It was the largest one and his name was often used for all slide adders. But it was not the first nor the only maker! Now, in this category we can find 3 images of not-Addiator devices (Efzet, Wizard, Super-Simplex), Whilst, in Category:Mechanical calculators we have other orphans slide adders (Caze, Tasco, Produx, Record)
Then my suggestion is to rename this category in "slide adders" or to create a new category "slide adders" with addiator as sub-category. --Ancelli (talk) 12:15, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dans le catalogue récapitulatif de ces inventions, il ne faut pas oublier les "machines" de Louis TRONCET dont "L'ARITHMOGRAPHE TRONCET" fut la plus populaire, éditée par LAROUSSE, et vendue jusque dans les années 1970. Une version avec mode d'emploi en Anglais a aussi été commercialisée. Louis TRONCET a dépose 4 brevets pour ses appareils.
