Reference is made to this man, born, who died on 4 June 1915. His narrative refers to the 56e R.I.C.

He is recorded on the Mémoire des hommes site as having served with the 58e R.I.C. This would fit with him being at sea, aboard a troopship in May 1915, to join the existing French forces that had deployed to the Dardanelles.
