English: The convent was dissolved by the Canton of Thurgau in 1848. The building complex was destroyed by a great fire in 1895. Its only remaining building today is the "Refektorium".
Deutsch: Das Kloster wurde 1848 durch den Kanton Thurgau aufgehoben. 1895 fiel die Anlage einem Grossfeuer zum Opfer. Das "Refektorium" ist das einzige bis heute erhaltene Gebäude der ehemaligen Klosteranlage.
