Yielding Copse is sited on a hilly area to the east of Ogbourne St George. A mixed wood with some coniferous areas and deciduous and coniferous together. Named for a tiny hamlet to the south called Lower Yielding. It is part of and attached to a much bigger forest called Moore's Wood.
