Deutsch: Die Siebte Bahnbrücke über den Jarmuk steht westlich des Bahnhofs al-Schadscharah. Unter den 15 Brücken der Bahnstrecke Haifa–Darʿā im Tal des Jarmuks, gezählt von Westen, ist sie die 8. und war die zeitlich erste, die fertiggestellt wurde. Nach Erhalt eines ersten Photos der fertigen Brücke, versandt von Kazim Pascha (Kâzım Alpan Paşa [1855-1936], Minister für Bau und Betrieb der Hidschasbahn), ehrte der osmanische Sultan Abdülhamid II. den bauleitenden Ingenieur Heinrich August Meißner Pascha mit der Hidschasbahn-Medaille in Gold. Die Strecke wurde 1904 fertiggestellt, ging aber nach Proben erst 1906 in den Regelbetrieb.

English: The Seventh Yarmouk Valley Railway Bridge was the first one of the bridges of the Haifa–Darʿa Railway to have been completed. Among all the 15 railway bridges in the Yarmouk Valley it can be counted as 8th. Kazim Pasha sent a photograph of it to the Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid, the first photograph of the Haifa to Darʿa line seen in Constantinople. On seeing it Sultan Abdul Hamid decorated the engineer Heinrich August Meissner Pasha with a gold medal.
