English: The Yamaha K-340 was an entry-level cassette deck made in 1984-1988 [1] (parts inside this unit are dated 1987). It was externally very similar to KX-200U (with minor cosmetic differences and the addition of HX Pro), and quite similar to K-300 and other Yamaha's budget decks with soft touch controls and slimline enclosure style. Inside, they usually share the same two-motor mechanism but use different controller software versions and different Dolby ICs.
