English: The Wormley School is located at 3331 Prospect Street NW in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. It was a segregated school built in 1885 to educate African-American children and named in honor of James Wormley. The school closed in 1952 and was used for night classes and office space by the Board of Education for the next few decades. The building was sold to Georgetown University in 1998 who later sold the property in 2005. The building was converted into a condominium called Wormley Row. The building is a contributing property to the Georgetown Historic District.
