English: William Sidney Pittman (1875–1958) — one of the United States' first African American architects.
- Pittman was a graduate of the architecture programs at Tuskegee University and Drexel University. He designed a number of buildings for the Tuskegee Institute, and across the southeastern U.S.
- His father-in-law was Booker T. Washington, a renowned leader in the U.S. African-American community.
