English: William Edward Sanders VC, DSO (1883–1917) was a New Zealand officer in the Royal Naval Reserve and a recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award of the British Commonwealth for gallantry "in the face of the enemy". He received the decoration for his actions while commander of HMS Prize.
