William Eastman Palmer & Sons was a family partnership of photographers which began in Devon in the 1860s and later moved to Barnet.
- William Eastman Palmer, who signed at least some photos "W. Palmer" started the firm.
- John Eastman Palmer, his brother, who signed his photos "John E. Palmer" or "J.E. Palmer"
W.E. Palmer's sons who began their photographic careers apprenticed to their father or uncle (above) were:
- William George Palmer
- John Eastman Palmer
- Frederick Christian Palmer (Fred C. Palmer)
- Ernest Charles Palmer
- Henry Reginald Palmer
There were numerous photographers named Palmer who produced postcards during the early 20th century. Those who might possibly be associated with the above photographic family will be listed here, to await further investigation
