English: William Bush (or Boush) Cox (1836–1882), also known as W. B. Cox, was a captain in the Missouri State Guard and a Civil War prisoner. He painted multiple portraits of Confederate leaders, including Robert E. Lee, Sterling Price and T. J. “Stonewall” Jackson, also scenes depicting the Union prisons during the Civil War and commemorative battle flags after the war.
