The Wikala al-Qutn is a wikala/khan built by Sultan al-Ghuri in 1511, which directly replaced the original 14th-century building known as "Khan al-Khalili" (which later gave its name to the entire district). It was originally known, after its construction, as the Khan al-Fisqiya. Today, its entrance portal and part of its upper floors still survive. (See main article in Wikipedia.)
