Deutsch: Die Wartehalle wurde 1893 als Warteraum für die Holtenauer Lotsen in der Kanalstraße 95 am Holtenauer Leuchtturm gebaut. Später war es eine Gaststätte unter verschiedenen Besitzer und Namen (Restaurant Lindemann, Wartehalle, Fördeblick), da inzwischen Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten für die Lotsen im benachbarten Lotsenhaus waren. In der Wartehalle wurde auch Im Jahre 1919 wurde der Deutsche Lotsenbund gegründet.
English: The Wartehalle was built in 1893 as a waiting room for the Holtenau pilots at Kanalstrasse 95 at the Holtenau lighthouse. Later it was used for a restaurant under different owners and names (Restaurant Lindemann, Waiting Hall, Fördeblick), because in the meantime waiting rooms for pilots was in the neighboring pilot house In the Wartehalle the German Pilots' Association was founded in 1919.
