English: WRC-TV is a television station broadcasting as channel 4 in Washington, D.C. and wholly owned by NBC. It was W3XNB from 1939 to 1947 and WNBW from 1947 to 1954. WRC-TV's building since 1958, which is also the NBC News Washington bureau, is in the Cathedral Heights neighborhood of Northwest DC. WHD-TV, an experimental high-definition television station, also broadcast from here from 1996 to around 2002.
