• Zoot suit

Army issue airplane mechanics’ coveralls worn by the WASP trainees to fly in. They came in only men's sizes, smallest size--44 long, and the trainees had to roll up the sleeves and pants legs.

• WASP trainee

Khaki slacks called "General's Pants", white blouses and overseas caps were worn by the very first classes as their 'dress' uniforms for graduations. Also worn with A-2 leather jacket with "Fifi" patch on left front. Because the trainees were expected to pass in review for visiting general officers, they were required to buy tan slacks and a white blouse. Forevermore, these pants would be nicknamed, "General’s Pants".

• Dress uniform

Santiago Blue dress uniform: including fitted, belted jacket and matching skirt, beret, white shirt, black tie and a purse. WASP were the only women in WWII to have berets. Black leather purse was one of the first 'over the shoulder' bags. Official uniform hardware included WASP Wings, prop & wings, Army Air Force patch and the W.A.S.P. hardware on the lapel. It was WASP’s Director, Jacqueline Cochran, who were able to convince Gen. Hap Arnold that the girl pilots should have their own uniforms.

• Flying duty uniform

Official WASP Santiago Blue Flying Uniform: Eisenhower jacket and matching slacks, blue shirt and black tie. Uniform hardware the same as dress uniform only one "W.A.S.P" worn on collar and one prop and wings worn on opposite collar.

• Leather flying uniform

Heavy leather suits in mens sizes only. Worn by trainees and ferry pilots when flying in cold weather or open cockpit aircraft. Wings Across America; Deanie Parrish. Uniforms of the WASP of WWII
