English: Vladimir Semyonovich Semyonov (ru:Владимир Семёнович Семёнов) (born in 1911, near Kirsanov, Tambov Oblast - died in 1992, Moscow) was a Soviet diplomat and famous for his military administrating in Eastern Germany during the Soviet occupation after the World War II. He was instrumental in the creation of en:East Germany, and served as the first Soviet en:ambassador to East Germany.
