A town on the banks of Mula Vagu (Manair river) in Rajanna Sircilla district, it is a major Shiva pilgrimage site in north-central Telangana. It is also spelled Vimulavada, and this place gives the term "Chalukyas of Vimulavada" found in historic texts.
