English: Villa Solbacken (literally Villa Sunny Hill) was the primary residence of Prince Bertil, Duke of Halland and his wife Princess Lilian, Duchess of Halland from 1949. Prince Bertil died in 1997 and in his will left Solbacken to Prince Carl Philip, Duke of Värmland, on the condition that Princess Lilian would be allowed to live there for the remainder of her life. Princess Lillian died in 2013 and Prince Carl Philip moved in after his wedding to Sofia Hellqvist in June 2015.
