English: The Royal Villa of Monza, Italy, was originally built by Giuseppe Piermarini in 1777 when Lombardy was part of Austrian Empire, for the Archduke Ferdinand of Austria (1754–1806). It lies on the banks of the Lambro, surrounded by Monza Park, one of the largest enclosed parks in Europe.
