Deutsch: Die Villa am Niemannweg 102 (Kiel-Düsternbrook) wurde 1911 im Auftrag von Dr. Ludwig Ahlmann errichtet anstelle des Altersruhesitzes seines Vater Wilhelm Ahlmann, der 1859 das Grundstück an der Krusenkoppel erwarb.

1937 verkaufte die Familie Ahlmann die Villa an die Kriegsmarine, die es als Sitz des Admirals der Marinestation der Ostsee nutzte.

Später erwarb die im Zweiten Weltkriegs stark beschädigte Villa der Verein „Der Kieler Kaufmann e. V.“ und nutzte sie als Clubhaus und Hotel.
English: The villa at Niemannweg 102 in the district of Kiel Düsternbrook was built in 1911 on behalf of Dr. Ludwig Ahlmann to replace the retirement home of his father Wilhelm Ahlmann, who acquired the property at Krusenkoppel in 1859.

In 1937, the Ahlmann family sold the villa to the Navy, which used it as official residence of the Admiral of the Baltic Sea Naval Station.

The villa, which was heavily damaged in the Second World War, was later acquired by the "Kieler Kaufmann e. V." association and used it as a clubhouse and hotel.
